FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze which started in a van.
The vehicle was reported to be alight in Hawkins Road, Colchester, at 8.38am on Thursday.
A fire crew from the station in Cowdray Avenue, Colchester, were quickly on the scene.
They managed to put out the flames within half an hour.
A spokesman for Essex Fire and Rescue Service confirmed crews had been called out to deal with a small vehicle fire.
