PARAMEDICS and police officers rushed to the aid of a man suffering a medical emergency before an air ambulance was called into action.
The Essex and Herts Air Ambulance landed in Dovercourt on August 4 following reports of a male patient in need of urgent assistance.
Upon arrival, the air ambulance personnel worked closely with Essex Police and the East of England Ambulance Service to optimise patient outcome.
The man was eventually transferred from the scene to a specialist hospital for ongoing treatment.
