A local pub in the village of Broxted, within rural Essex, has been found on fire this morning, with firefighters working to tackle the blaze.
The pub, which has served has a hub for the village for decades was seen on fire at around 8:00 this morning, with firefighters arriving shortly after. The cause of the blaze has not yet been discovered, but the building is believed to have been empty at the time of the fire.
Firefighters attempted to gain access to the property by force before the landlady arrived and was able to provide a key.
