Love was in the air when a Colchester man proposed to his girlfriend.
The sky was the limit for Scott Greenhill when he asked his partner, Emma Garrad, to be his wife.
The 35-year-old insurance manager of Bergholt Road, Colchester, arranged for an aeroplane to fly above the couple as they walked to a pub for lunch on Saturday.
Tied to the back of the plane was a message spelling out in giant letters “Emma I love you. Will you marry me?”.
