Colchester United have signed former QPR midfielder Conor Hubble, following a successful trial period.
The 18-year-old, who was released by Rangers at the start of the year, will play for Richard Hall's under-21 side after impressing at the Weston Homes Community Stadium at the end of last season.
Hubble, an attack-minded, hard-working midfielder, is the second non-U's player to be added to the club's under-21 squad following the arrival of defender Mason Spence last month.
Hubble is likely to feature in Colchester under-21s' opening pre-season friendly of the summer on Saturday when they travel to play Hadleigh United.
