A young Colchester United side swept aside their Arsenal counterparts 5-1 in a friendly at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
The U's, who also featured the likes of Josh Thompson and Mark Cousins, raced into a three-goal lead against the Gunners, with goals from Freddie Ladapo, Conor Hubble and the outstanding Drey Wright putting them in charge at half-time.
Ladapo added his second of the game just after the break, to give Colchester a 4-0 lead.
And although Chuba Akpom pulled a goal back for the Gunners just after the hour mark, Mason Spence rounded off the U's fine win with a superb finish late on to round off an impressive display.
