Colchester United may allow Drey Wright to leave on loan in order for him to hit the ground running in the final few weeks of the season.
The teenager is looking for more match practice after recently returning from a five-month lay-off, following knee surgery.
Wright played for the U’s in their Essex Senior Cup semi-final defeat at Concord Rangers, last week.
However, Colchester are considering the possibility of letting the winger leave on a temporary basis.
U's boss Joe Dunne said: “We have an idea of what we want to do with Drey, in terms of getting him match fit."
