Colchester United defender Tosin Olufemi has been ruled out for at least six months after rupturing his Achilles tendon.
The 20-year-old has already undergone surgery after suffering the injury while playing for the U's in their pre-season friendly at Bishop's Stortford, on Wednesday night.
Olufemi, who made 14 appearances for Colchester last season, underwent an operation yesterday and now looks likely to be out until at least January.
