NEW signing Karl Duguid is relishing his fresh challenge at STANWAY ROVERS.
The Colchester United legend joined last week and made his debut in Saturday’s nail-biting FA Vase victory at Hertford.
Rovers have now been handed a trip to Spartan South Midlands League leaders Sun Sports in the second-round proper, in a tie to be played on November 22.
And Duguid is looking forward to helping his new club continue their adventure in the competition, as well as focusing on their main goal of promotion to the Ryman League.
“I thoroughly enjoyed my debut, both for Stanway and in the Vase,” said Duguid, a veteran of more than 400 games for the U’s.
“It was a tough and I struggled a bit afterwards as I played all 120 minutes.
“But it was great and I’m really happy to have signed for the club."
