Colchester United loanee Matthew Briggs has been called up to the Guyana squad for their friendly against Grenada later this month.
Briggs, who is on loan at the U's from Championship side Millwall, will fly out to Guyana to feature in the match on March 29.
Briggs, the youngest ever player to feature in the Premier League, is set to miss the U's home game against Swindon Town as a result of his call-up.
Briggs, who has been capped for England up to under-21 level, qualifies for Guyana through his grandmother.
Former U's midfielder Neil Danns, who now plays for Bolton Wanderers, has also been called up for the Caribbean nation.
