Colchester United have been drawn to play League One rivals Gillingham in the second round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
The U's, who received a bye to progress from the first round, will host the Gills at the Weston Homes Community Stadium in the week commencing October 6.
Colchester last played Gillingham in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in September 2009, when the U's were knocked out on penalties following a 1-1 draw at Priestfield.
