Colchester United have completed the loan signing of winger Callum Harriott from Championship club Charlton Athletic.

The 21-year-old has joined the U's until January 2 and will be available for the U's home game with Scunthorpe United tomorrow, subject to the relevant paperwork being signed in time.

Harriott has spent his entire career at the Valley and has clocked up nearly 70 league appearances for the Championship club.

He has made two appearances for their first team this season, including a start in their Capital One Cup win at Peterborough United, on Tuesday night.
