Cameron James and Tariq Issa have become the latest players to sign new contracts with Colchester United.
The pair have both penned four-year deals with the U's, keeping them at the Weston Homes Community Stadium until 2020.
The academy duo will be hoping to impress in pre-season for the U's and knock on the door of the first team squad, as the club plan for the future.
James made his first-team debut for Colchester on the final day of last season, when he came on as a second-half substitute in their 2-1 home defeat against Rochdale.
Issa is yet to make his senior debut for the U's but featured regularly for the under-21s under John McGreal, last season.
