Colchester United youngsters Diaz Wright, Charley Edge and Decarrey Sheriff have all agreed new one-year contracts with the club.
The academy trio were all out of contract at the end of last season but have now penned new deals with the U's, to remain at the Weston Homes Community Stadium until at least the summer of 2018.
Edge and Wright were both handed their professional debuts with Colchester under head coach John McGreal, last season.
Former Everton youngster Edge, a Wales under-17 international made his first team debut as a second-half substitute in the U's League Two game against Crawley Town in February.
And Wright, the younger brother of U's winger Drey Wright and son of former Ipswich Town player Jermaine Wright, made his bow for Colchester's senior side as a substitute in their Checkatrade Trophy defeat at Crawley, last August.
Like Edge and Wright, forward Sheriff figured prominently for Wayne Brown's under-23 side last season and will be hoping to push for a first-team bow in the forthcoming campaign.
