Colchester United will travel to Ireland for a training camp next week as they kick-off their pre-season preparations.
The U's squad will fly to Dublin on Monday morning in readiness for a five-day camp, as boss Joe Dunne prepares his players for the new 2013-14 League One season.
Dunne said: "Going over will give us the chance to have the squad in a closed environment, where we can concentrate fully on what we have to do without any distractions.
"The lads will be together all the time as well, giving them the chance to bond again after a summer away from each other."
