Greeting

Peter and Mavis BALBIRNIE

CHRISTMAS MESSAGE Councillor Peter De-Vaux Balbirnie MBE and his wife Mavis wish all their dear friends, fellow councillors and families, council staff, colleagues and residents of Tendring District a very happy Christmas and very best wishes for a happy, healthy and peaceful 2013. We both know from working with charities that many are suffering, and we would again send our Christmas message through our local media and have made the following donations in lieu of Christmas cards as follows:- East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices Supporting families and care for children and young people with life threatening conditions across the area. Hearing Dogs for the Deaf Charity which provides the training of dogs to alert deaf people to important sounds and danger signals in the home, work place and public buildings. There are many profoundly deaf people who would live in isolation if it were not for their faithful and trusted canine. A donation to each of the Parish Councils on which I serve to be put towards projects for the benefit of the local residents. Our thoughts are with you all this Christmas, especially those alone, those working to provide services to ensure our safety and wellbeing, and the many families who will be separated including those whose brave members are serving their country abroad and will, we sincerely hope, be returned home to you safely. Our message through the media is no less sincere and we do hope that you all have a very happy Christmas and best wishes for 2013. Peter and Mavis XX
