(Chapel Lane, West Bergholt)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chapel Lane, West Bergholt in the Borough of Colchester, for a distance of 50 metres either side of the property known as Brayvena.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 14 February 2012 for 3 days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to install a new water connection are undertaken.

The alternative route will be via Chapel Lane - Chapel Road - Queens Road - Bourne Road - Chapel Lane and vice versa.

Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.

The Order will come into effect on 14 February 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
