Notice of Application for a Premises Licence

NOTICE IS GIVEN THAT an application has been made to Colchester Borough Council (the Licensing Authority) for a Premises Licence To permit licensable activities which it is proposed will be carried on, on or from the premises shown below.

Name of applicant: Dhiraj Shah.
Postal Address of the Premises: Colchester News Ltd, 156B High Street, Colchester, Essex CO1 1PG.
Statement of Intended Licensable Activities: The sale by retail of alcohol for consumption off the premises Monday to Sunday 07:00 hours to 23:00 hours

Details of the application may be inspected between the hours of 09.00 and 17.00 Monday to Friday at the Council’s office at Angel Court, High Street, Colchester and can also be viewed on the Council’s website at: http://www.colchester.gov.uk

Any persons or responsible authority may make representations in respect of the application, which must be submitted, in writing, to Colchester Borough Council Licensing Authority, PO Box 889, Rowan House, 33 Sheepen Road, Colchester, CO3 3WG before the date shown below:

This notice remains in force from and including the day after the giving of this notice to the licensing authority, namely 2nd December 2014 for 28 consecutive days.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine on summary conviction is £5,000
