Thorrington Level Crossing

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) (No.2)
Order 2011

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close the various lengths of roads, in the Parish of Thorrington in the District of Tendring as specified:

Road - Distance/Location
B1029 Frating Road - From its junction with the level crossing barrier north-west for 20 metres
Great Bentley Road - From its junction with the level crossing barrier north-east for 20 metres
Church Road - From its junction with the level crossing barrier south-east for 20 metres B1029
Station Road - From its junction with the level crossing barrier south-west for 20 metres

The closures are scheduled to commence on 8 December 2011 for 1 night between the hours of 00:55 hours and 05:05 hours or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce to facilitate tamping work on the level crossing by Network Rail.

An alternative route is available via Station Road - Great Bentley Road - Thorrington Road - Plough Road - Colles Brooke Road - South Heath Road - Dead Lane - Holy Bush Hill – Clacton Road - Station Road and vice versa.

Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 8 December 2011 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Footpath No.7 (Norwith Foot Crossing), Ardleigh)
(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2011
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath No.7 (Norwith Foot Crossing), Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, for a distance of 20 metres either side of the crossing. The closure is scheduled to commence at 23:50 hours on 10 December 2011 to 05:00 hours 11 December 2011 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst Network Rail inspect the track.

The Order will come into effect on 10 December 2011 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works are finished, whichever is the earlier.

(Cannon Road, Colchester)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2011

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Cannon Road in the Borough Colchester, from its junction with Cannon Street for a distance of 45 metres east to its junction with Artillery Street.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 12 December 2011 for 5 days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst electricity connections works are undertaken.

The alternative route will be via Rebow Street - King Stephen Road -Artillery Street and vice versa.

Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.

The Order will come into effect on 12 December 2011 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Radvald Chase, Weyland Drive & Woden Avenue, Colchester) (20MPH Zone) Order 201*
(Colchester Borough) (Waiting Restriction) (Consolidation) (Amendment No.37) Order 20**

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Section 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 53, 84(1) (a), (2) and parts III & IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the orders:
1. To introduce a 20mph Zone on Radvald Chase, Weyland Drive & Woden Avenue in the Borough of Colchester as specified:

Road – Description
Radvald Chase, Colchester - From its junction with Woden Avenue for its entire length.
Weyland Drive, Colchester - From its junction with Woden Avenue for its entire length.
Woden Avenue, Colchester - From its junction with Winstree Road for its entire length.
2. To introduce No Waiting At Any Time' restrictions on the following lengths of Winstree Road & Woden Avenue, Stanway in the Borough of Colchester as specified:

Road - Description
Winstree Road, Stanway - SOUTH SIDE: From its junction with Woden Avenue for a distance of 13 metres in a southerly direction to join with the existing No Waiting at Any Time restrictions. NORTH SIDE: From its junction with Woden Avenue for a distance of 30 metres in a northerly direction.
Woden Avenue, Stanway - BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Winstree Road for 13 metres in an easterly direction.

The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Waiting Restriction) (Consolidation) Order 2008 will be varied by the above waiting restrictions Order.
