Notice under Article 13
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has received a planning application from T.W. Salmon & Co., T & R Fairley Farms and Tabor Farms Ltd. for the construction of an agricultural reservoir, by the extraction and removal from the site of sand, gravel and surplus soils, together with the construction of an internal haul-road, ancillary buildings and widening of the existing access on Hall Road (61029) at land adjacent to Manning Grove, Carringtons Road, Great Bromley, Essex — ESS/56/11/TEN. The proposed development does not accord with the provision of the Minerals Local Plan (1996) and the Tendring District Local Plan (2007) in force in the area which the land to which the application relates is situated. Footpath 25 (Great Bromley) is affected by the proposal. Members of the public may inspect a copy of the application together with an Environmental Statement and other documents submitted with it at Tendring District Council, Planning Office, Council Offices, Thorpe Road, Weeley, Clacton-on-Sea, C016 9AJ and Manningtree Library, High Street , Manningtree, C011 1AD during normal opening hours and at Essex County Council at the address below (please call for an appointment on 01245 435555) from 01 December 2011 until 12 January 2012. For as long as stocks last, paper copies of the Environmental Statement are available from Mineral Service Ltd, PO Box 10523, Stoke by Nayland, C06 4WJ at a cost of £100 for Volume 1, £150 for Volume 2 and free of charge for the Non-Technical Summary. Anyone who wishes to make representations or objections in respect of this application should e-mail them to mineralsandwastedm@essex.gov.uk or write to the undersigned by 12 January 2012. Please include your name and full address. Any such representations or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public.
