Essex County Council (Footpath No.12 (Lord's No.1 Foot Crossing), and 6 others

(Footpath No.12 (Lord's No.1 Foot Crossing), Great Bentley) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: to temporarily close that length of Footpath No.12 (Lord's No.1 Foot Crossing), Great Bentley in the District of Tendring, for a distance of 20 metres either side of the crossing.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 17 January 2012 for 1 night between the hours of 01:55h and 05:05h or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst tamping works are undertaken by Network Rail.
The Order will come into effect on 17 January 2012 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works are finished, whichever is the earlier.

(Padgetts Road Foot Crossing, Wivenhoe) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: to temporarily close that length of Padgetts Road Foot Crossing, Wivenhoe in the Borough of Colchester, for a distance of 20 metres either side of the crossing.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 20 January 2012 between the hours of 00:55h and 05:05h or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst level crossing maintenance works are undertaken by Network Rail.
The alternative route will be via Anglesey Road.
The Order will come into effect on 20 January 2012 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works are finished, whichever is the earlier.

(Al 34/A1124 Southway, B1022 Maldon Road, Crouch Street East and A134 Balkerne Hill, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of A134/A1124 Southway, B1022 Maldon Road, Crouch Street East and A134 Balkerne Hill in the Borough of Colchester, as specified:
Road A134/A1124 Southway including Maldon Road Roundabout
Description From its junction with Hospital Lane in an easterly direction for approximately 415 metres up to its junction with Headgate.
Alternative Route
Vehicles approaching Southway via A1124 Lexden Road: A133 Cymbeline Way, A133 CoIne Bank Avenue, A134 Westway, Middleborough, North Hill, High Street, Queen Street, St Botolphs Street, A134 Southway.
Vehicles approaching Southway via A134 and The Hythe:
Headgate, Head Street, North Hill, Middleborough, A134 Westway, A133 CoIne Bank Avenue, A133 Cymbeline Way, A1124 Lexden Road.
Road A134 Balkeme Hill
Description Full length of road from its junction with Middlesborough roundabout in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 560 metres.
Alternative Route
Southbound: Middlesborough, North Hill, High Street, Queen Street, A134 Southway.
Northbound: A134 Southway, Headgate, Head Street, North Hill, Middlesborough.
Road B1022 Maldon Road
Description From its junction with Maldon Road roundabout in a southerly direction for approximately 240 metres up to its junction with Beaconsfield Avenue.
Alternative Route
Northbound diversion for vehicles travelling to Southway Al 34/town centre/The Hythe: Drury Road (or Beaconsfield Ave), B1026 Butt Road and Southway A134.
Southbound/westbound diversion for vehicles travelling to Lexden Road or south of closure: Headgate, Head Street, North Hill, Middleborough, Westway, CoIne Bank Avenue, Cymbeline Way, A1124 London Road, Straight Road, B1022 Shrub End Road.
Road Crouch Street East
Description From its junction with Headgate for a distance of approximately 167 metres up to its junction with Balkerne Hill.
Alternative Route
No diversion possible as Balkerne Hill will be shut
The one way restriction in Crouch Street West (The Borough of Colchester (Crouch Street) (One-Way) Order 1973') between its junction with Rawstorn Road for distance of approximately 150 metres up to its junction with Balkerne Hill will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the closure. This will include the banned left turn from Rawstom Road into Crouch Street.
The one way restriction St Mary's Fields ('The Essex County Council (St Mary's Hospital Site, Balkerne Hill, Colchester) (One Way) Order 2009') from its junction with Pope Lane in an easterly direction for 30 metres up to 1 - 5 Francis Kellerman Walk will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the closure.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 16 January 2012 for 4 nights between the hours of 21:00 and 06:00 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and are required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway resurfacing works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 16 January 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Footpath No.11 (Long Green Crossing), Marks Tey) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: to temporarily close that length of Footpath No.11 (Long Green Foot Crossing), Marks Tey in the Borough of Colchester, for a distance of 20 metres either side of the crossing.
The closure is scheduled to commence at 23:50h on 7 January 2012 to 06:00h 8 January 2012 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst the track is inspected by Network Rail.
The Order will come into effect on 7 January 2012 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works are finished, whichever is the earlier.

(Chitts Hill Level Crossing, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chitts Hill Level Crossing, in the Parishes of West Bergholt, Eight Ash Green and Stanway in the Borough of Colchester for a distance of 50 metres either side of the level crossing.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 8 January 2012 between the hours of 01:50am to 06:50am and 9 January 2012 between the hours of 00:15am to 04:35am or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst Network Rail undertake tamping works.
The alternative route will be via Chitts Hill Road - Halstead Road -Spring Lane - Argents Lane - Chitts Hill Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 8 January 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(B1025 Mersea Road, Abberton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of B1025 Mersea Road, Abberton in the Borough of Colchester, from a point 420 metres south of its junction with Haye Lane, south for a distance of approximately 200 metres.
The 12 ton weight limit on Layer Road Bridge is hereby temporarily suspended.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 17 January 2012 for 3 days between the hours of 9.30am to 3.30pm or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while resurfacing works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
The alternative route will be via Layer Road, Oxley Hill, Layer Road, Abberton Road, Malting Green Road, B1026 High Road, B1026 Layer Road, Berechurch Hall Road, B1025 Blackheath and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 17 January 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Footpath No.11, Eight Ash Green & Footpath No.29, Stanway) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: to temporarily close that length of Footpath No.11, Eight Ash Green & Footpath No.29, Stanway (Church No.2 Foot Crossing) in the Borough of Colchester, for a distance of 20 metres either side of the crossing.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 12 January 2012 for 1 night between the hours of 00:25h and 04:50h or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst tamping works are undertaken by Network Rail.
The Order will come into effect on 12 January 2012 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works are finished, whichever is the earlier.
