(Crepping Hall Road, Wakes Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Crepping Hall Road, Wakes Colne in the Borough of Colchester, from a point 150 metres west of its junction with Penlan Hall
Lane, west for a distance of approximately 250 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 24 January 2012 for 2 days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to replace a cable is undertaken by BT.
The alternative route will be via Penlan Hall Lane - A1124 Halstead Road - Colchester Road - Crepping Hall Road and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 24 January 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(School Lane, Great and Little Wigborough) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of School Lane, Great and Little Wigborough in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Peldon Road, north for a
distance of 580 metres to its junction with Church Lane.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 23 January 2012 for 5 days between the hours of 9.30am to 3.30pm or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by BT.
The alternative route will be via Maldon Road - B1026 Colchester Road - B1020 Layer Road - School Lane and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 23 January 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(B1029 Station Road (Level Crossing), Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of B1029 Station Road, in the Parish of Ardleigh in the District of Tendring for 20 metres either side of the level
crossing.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 29 January 2012 between the hours of 01:50h and 06:20h or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tamping works are undertaken on the level crossing.
An alternative route for traffic on the north side of the level crossing is available via the A137 (Colchester Road, Harwich Road, Parsons Heath, Harwich Road), the A133 (St Andrews Avenue, Clacton
Road, Frating Hill, Main Road) and the B1029 (Bromley Road, Frating Road, Hall Road and Frating Road). An alternative route for traffic on the south side of the crossing is available via Slough
Lane, Bromley Road, and the A137 (Parsons Heath, Harwich Road and Colchester Road).
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 29 January 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Thorrington Level Crossing, Thorrington) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close the various lengths of roads, in the Parish of Thorrington in the District of Tendring as specified:

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce to facilitate tamping work on the level crossing by Network Rail.
An alternative route is available via Station Road - Great Bentley Road - Thorrington Road - Plough Road - Colles Brooke Road - South Heath Road - Dead Lane - Holy Bush Hill - Clacton Road -
Station Road and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 31 January 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Severalls Lane & Mill Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Severalls Lane & Mill Road in the Borough of Colchester, as specified:

The closures are scheduled to commence on 1 February 2012 for 2 nights between the hours of 23:30h and 03:00h or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and are required for the
safety of the public and workforce while relining works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 1 February 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
