(Hythe Station Road Level Crossing, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hythe Station Road Level Crossing in the Borough of Colchester, for a distance of 25 metres either side of the level crossing.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 18 March 2012 between the hours of 01:00 and 07:00 and the 25 March 2012 between the hours of 01:00 and 07:00 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while level crossing maintenance works are undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Hythe Station Road Greenstead Road —Greenstead Roundabout —A134 Eastem Approach — Colne Causeway —Hawkins Road and vice versa.
Access to properties will be maintained during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 18 March 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Blue Road, Tiptree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Blue Road, Tiptree in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Perry Road, north for a distance of approximately 50 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 21 March 2012 to 23 March 2012 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to install a new water connection are undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Vine Road - B1022 Maldon Road -Perry Road and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 21 March 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Lime Avenue, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lime Avenue in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 15 metres north of its junction with Juniper Way in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 20 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 19 March 2012 for 1 month or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to install a overflow sewer are undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Aspen Way — Sycamore Road and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 19 March 2012 and may continue in orce for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Colchester Borough) (Waiting Restriction) (Consolidation) (Amendment No.38) Order 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order previously advertised as The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Waiting Restriction) (Consolidation) (Amendment No.32) Order 20** under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 53 of and Part Ill & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To revoke the No Waiting At Any Time' restrictions on the following lengths of roads in the Borough of Colchester:
Elmstead Road - The south side from its junction with Colne Causeway to a point 43 metres east and south of that junction (measured along the kerbline).
2. To introduce No Waiting At Any Time' restrictions on the following lengths of roads in the Borough of Colchester:
Elmstead Road -
• The south west side from its junction with the Eastern Approach Road east and then south for a distance of 48.6 metres.
• The south west side from a point 15 metres north-west of its junction with Mascot Square to point 15 metres south-east of its junction with Mascot Square.
• The north east side from a point 10 metres north-west of it junction with Swan Close to the eastern boundary of Elmstead Road, (including the turning head).
• The south west side from the eastern boundary of no.59 Elmstead Road to the eastern boundary of Elmstead Road, (including the turning head).
Capon Road - Both sides from the junction of Elmstead Road southwards to the highway boundary for a distance of 68 metres including the turning area on the west side.
3. To revoke No Waiting Monday-Saturday 8.30am - 9.30am and 4.30pm - 6.00pm' restrictions on the following lengths of Elmstead Road in the Borough of Colchester:
Elmstead Road -
• The north east side from the Essex University entrance road to a point opposite the eastern boundary of no's 32/34.
• The south west side from a point in line with the northern boundary of no.13 Elmstead Road t its junction with the Essex University entrance road.
4. To introduce No Waiting Monday-Saturday 8.30am - 9.30am and 4.30pm - 6.00pm' restrictions on the following lengths of Elmstead Road in the Borough of Colchester:
Elmstead Road -
• The north east side for a point in line with the eastern boundary of no 32 south-eastwards for distance of 129.5 metres.
• The south west side from a point 48.6 metres south-east of its junction with Eastern Approach south-east to a point 15 metres north-west of its junction with Mascot Square
• The south west side from a point 15 metres south-east of its junction with Mascot Square south-east to the eastern boundary of no.59 Elmstead Road.
The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Waiting Restriction) (Consolidation) Order 2008 will be varied by the above waiting restrictions Order.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 19 March 2012.
Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX.
Application to the High Court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Radvald Chase, Weyland Drive & Woden Avenue, Colchester) (20MPH Zone) Order 2012 The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Waiting Restriction) (Consolidation) (Amendment No.37) Order 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Orders under Section 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 53, 84(1) (a), and (2) and Parts Ill & IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the orders:

Definitive Map and Statement for the County of Essex The Essex County Council Definitive Map
A: Modification No. 479 (Bridleway 25 (Green Lane) Tolleshunt D'Arcy District) Order 2011
B: Modification No. 469 (Footpaths 5 and 23 Chappel, Colchester District) Order 2011
Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Environment Food and Rural Affairs on 24 February 2012 and 7 February 2012 confirmed the above mentioned Orders respectively and they took effect on those day.
The effect of the Order is to modify the Definitive Map for the County of Essex by:-
A:Adding a bridleway running from Tudwick Road, Tolleshunt D'Arcy at point A on the Order map in an east-north-easterly direction to meet D'Arcy Road, Tolleshunt D'Arcy at point B on the Order map. Width 3 metres, length approximately 1 kilometre.
B: Adding a section of Footpath 23 Chappel from the gate at the western boundary of the property now known as Glebe Cottage at the western extent of the publicly maintained road south of the church, in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 42 metres to its junction with Footpath 5. The width of the way is 1.5 metres through the gap adjacent to the gate increasing to 2.8 metres along the surfaced track.
A: A copy of the Order and Order map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Maldon District Council, Council Offices, Princes Road, Maldon, CM9 5DL and at the Chelmsford Library, Market Road, Chelmsford, where copies will be available on request at a charge.
B: A copy of the Order and Order map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Colchester Borough Council, Town Hall, High Street, Colchester, Essex and at the Chelmsford Library, Market Road, Chelmsford, where copies will be available on request at a charge.
If any person is aggrieved by either of these Orders and desires to question its validity on the ground that it is not within the powers of section 53 or that any of the requirements of Schedule 15 have not been complied with in relation to it, he may within 42 days from the date of publication of this Notice make an application to the High Court under paragraph 12(1) of Schedule 15 to the Act.
