COLCHESTER BOROUGH HOMES LTD
EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (RESPONSIVE REPAIRS & MAINTENANCE & GENERAL BUILDING)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced general building contractors who wish to be considered for inclusion on the tender list for the above contract. The tender will be based on the National Housing Federation Schedule of | Rates (NHF Schedule Version 6) covering all aspects of works below.

* Fencing and gates
* Wall & Floor Tile & Sheet Finishes
* Painting & Decorating
* Drainage
* Brickwork
* Roofing
* Carpentry & Joinery
* Electrical
* Plastering & Other Finishes
* Cleaning
* Glazing
* Plumbing
* Specialist Treatments
* Scaffolding
* General building

The contract period will commence on 1st April 2014 and will run until 31st | March 2015 under the JCT Measured Term Contract.

Work will be issues on an individual order basis (adhoc) and will be spread throughout Colchester Borough Council's housing stock. Each order has a strict turn-around timescale and the contract will be subject to the application of KPI's covering performance and customer satisfaction.

Companies who wish to be considered for the inclusion on the tender list must complete a pre-qualification questionnaire, available from the contact below. The contract will be awarded to the contractor offering the most economically adventurous tender based on price, financial background viability, technical ability, service delivery and sufficiency of resources. CBH will not be bound to accept the lowest or any tender.
