Post office closures
The Post Office has announced that two more post offices in Southend and one in Basildon will close permanently. These come on top of an earlier announced closure of six post offices in Southend in September and one in Basildon at the end of the month

A man was recovering in the hospital following a crash on the M25. Two articulated lorries collided between junction 27 and 28 on Saturday morning. The driver of the blue lorry, a 43-year-old from Coventry, sustained injuries to his head, arms and legs
