THREE roads across Colchester are set to be closed in the coming weeks.
Here's where and why:
Broome Grove in Wivenhoe will be temporarily closed from its junction with Heath Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a north westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on April 1 for 19 days.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
Carters Hill in Boxted will be temporarily closed on April 2 for five days.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pipe laying works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
Birch Road in Layer-de-la-Haye will be temporarily closed from its junction with Church Road to its junction with Birch Park for a distance of approximately 1075m.
The closure is scheduled to commence on March 18 for five days.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
