A SUMMER market aims to bring a "vibrant celebration" of art and creativity to Colchester his weekend.

The craft market will be filled with ceramics and prints made by members of Colchester’s Makerspace.

The event will run this Friday (23 August), and Saturday (24 August) on Trinity Street,  in partnership with vegetarian restaurant Patch.

There will be stalls, music and a bar on Friday, from 6pm to 9pm, followed by a daytime market from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, with food and drink available.

The "unique" event brings talented artisans, makers and designers from Makerspace’s studio together to showcase their skills and creations.

Entry to the summer market is free, and visitors can register in advance for either day and be entered in a free prize draw to win a £50 voucher.

Registration can be done online, at EventBrite.
