THISTLETHWAYTE Sarah (née Batt) Died peacefully at home on 1st October 2022. Much loved mother of Katie, Carina, Tania and grandmother and great-grandmother. A service of Thanksgiving on Friday 18th November 11.00am at St Andrew's Church, Fingringhoe, CO5 7BN. So very sorry to hear of the death of Sarah. I knew her when we were all very active in the Rowhedge Protection Group. She was very supportive of my idea to plant horse chestnut trees along Rowhedge Rd to replace the ageing and dying hawthorn trees and to improve the entrance to Rowhedge. Alas, nothing came of it but the idea lives on!
