LICKERISH Rene May Passed away peacefully on 13th September 2022 at Balkern Gardens, aged 99 years. Much loved Mother, Grandma and Great Grandma. The Funeral will take place on Friday 21st October at 12:30pm at Colchester Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations welcome to Cancer Research UK or St Helena's Hospice c/o East Of England Co-operative, Manningtree.Tributes

I am so sorry to hear of Rene's death. My father and mother (Mr Harry Sims and Kath Sims) were very good friends of Mr and Mrs Lickerish and went on holiday with them twice - to Holland and France in the 70's and 80's(?). I remember her well also going to the Mayor's Ball dressed very elegantly. How sad.
