WELHAM Greta The matriarch of our family, passed away on the 13th November 2022, only a few weeks ahead of her 103rd Birthday. Having lost her only Son, John this summer, her heart was no longer with us and this world. Devoted to her late Husband Jack, Mother-in-Law to Pat, Nan to Jane and Victoria, the best 'Old Nanny' to Mary, Denis and James and loved dearly by Barny and David. Friend to many who passed through her home at Mersea Court over the last 26 years, and to warden Alison. For the past two and a half years, Greta was blessed to have been cared for by the amazing ladies from Native Angels, Debbie, Lisa and Mel to whom we once again owe our deepest gratitude for the end of life care they provided during her last weeks, with the upmost dignity and devotion. The Funeral Service will take place on Friday 16th December, at The Parish Church of St Peter & St Paul, West Mersea at 11:00am.
