Andrew (Andy) Farrin

FARRIN Andrew (Andy) 50, of Alresford, Essex, passed away peacefully at home on 18th February 2023 after a 3 and half year battle against a brain tumour. Andy was born in Maidstone, Kent, he attended Wrotham Secondary after which he went on to work for British Gas, a career he loved and continued with until his last months. He was an avid cyclist, completing London to Brighton on multiple occasions, a charitable cycle from London to Paris, and even cycled from Kent to North Devon to raise money for Dementia UK, Breast Cancer Care and MIND on route to his wedding in May 2019. He leaves behind his devoted wife Julie Farrin, parents Adrian Farrin, Jacqueline Farrin and Janis Blackburn, brothers and sisters Tracey Farrin, Steve Farrin, Steve Vaughan and James Blackburn, along with many beloved nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at Colchester Crematorium, Mersea Road at 2:45pm on Tuesday 21st March. All welcome. The family requests no flowers, but if you wish to do so, please make a charitable donation to either Brain Tumour Research or St Helena Hospice.
