GOSDEN Kenneth (A R I C S) 22.06.1937 19.05.2023 Passed away peacefully at Colchester General Hospital. Much loved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Funeral Service to be held at St John's Church, Great Clacton on Tuesday 27th June 2023 at 1 pm. Family flowers only please, donations welcome to Essex & Herts Air Ambulance via John J Smith Funeral Directors, 279 Old Road, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex CO15 3NR

I'm not even sure that this is appropriate, but I knew a man called Ken Gosden who worked as as Quantity Surveyor for Colchester Borough Council when I was there as a student in 1971 /72. I remember the office banter with him and that when I was leaving I sold my record player to him for £5 but refused to include my copy of After the Goldrush by Neil Young (I still have it) . A dear and clear memory that has stayed with me for over 50 years.
