ALLEN Bernard "Bernie" Sadly Bernie lost his fight against cancer on 23rd September 2023. He was my soulmate & best freind. A fantastic Dad & Granddad to his two sons & five inherited daughters, also 23 Grandchildren. The family would like to express their gratitude to St Helena Hospice & also to the wonderful staff at Cheviot Nursing Home, who looked after Bernie in the final weeks of his life. Bernies funeral will take place on 20th October at Colchester Crematorium at 3.15pm, followed by a gathering to celebrate his life at Kingsford Park. At Bernies request, no formal black dress to be worn.
