Gavin Barrie Scott (Wee Guy) 24.10.1930 - 30.09.2023 Aged 92 years Former Head, School of Automotive Engineering, Colchester Institute and a long standing member of the Colchester Cine & Video Club A much loved husband to the late Jean, brother to Martha and Helen and the late Sophie and John. Much loved father to daughter Anne, son John and son-in-law Mak. Grandfather to Justin and wife April, Bevan and wife Sarah, Sophie and partner Ella and Aaron. Great-Grandfather to Nicole, Carla and husband Ian, William and Olivia. Great-Great-Grandfather to Theo and Kallum. The Clock of Life The clock of life is wound but once And no-one has the power To say just when the hands will stop At an early or late hour Live, love and work with a will Place no faith in tomorrow For the hands may then be still. The funeral will be held at Colchester Crematorium on Friday 3rd November 2023, at 11:30am followed by a buffet in Gavin's memory at The Officers Club, Londinium Rd, Colchester CO2 7NU.
