WILSON Margaret Joy "Joy" 30.08.1935 - 07.12.2023 Joy passed away on the 7th December with her family. Much loved Wife of the late Clifford. Loving Mum to the late Tristan, Daughters Alida & Roxane and Son Gary. Loving Nan to Odette, Gavin, Corrine and Aaron. Great Nanny to Jenson. Funeral Service to take place Friday 26th January 2024 at 2pm at St. Andrew's Church, Greenstead, followed by Cremation at Colchester Crematorium at 3.15pm. Family flowers only. Donations if desired, to Dementia UK or the Alzheimer's Society.

I cared for joy for many years in the home she was in , she was such a cheeky lady who loved listening to Elvis , I will miss her big smile and her banta , whenever I hear an Elvis song I will remember us singing them with her ,she loved elvis , joy had such a strong charactor and she enjoyed a laugh , joy was not someone we just cared for she was like a little nan , part of our family unit
God bless joy , you was a fighter right to the end , thinking of joys daughters , granddaughters and family at there time of loss x joy will be truely missed x mel (carer )

A lot of my younger years were spent growing up with Joy living across the road from me. I will always remember popping over to see her, eventually caring for her at my old care home. She would have me in stitches. Will miss her and her cheeky smile dearly. Thinking of her family at this difficult time xxx
