Isobel Christina Walker (Ruckert)

Isobel will be greatly missed by all who knew her. I have known Isobel for 40+ years during our time nursing in the NHS and latterly when working in nurse education. She was always great fun to spend time with and had the most wicked dry sense of humour! More recently we would regularly spot each other and chat whilst out walking along the Walton seafront near her home which was always such a joy. Isobel was a a caring soul in every sense of the word and her patients, colleagues and friends had nothing but admiration for her kindness and professionalism. She was a true ‘one-off’. My thoughts are with Steven and her family at this very sad time and I shall always remember Isobel with the greatest fondness.

Isobel will be sadly missed by everyone who new her. I (Trevor) remember so many fond memories of her throughout her life right back to spending her primary school days with her., and Glenys who spent many years with her as a true hard working companion and work colleague. Best wishes to Steve and all the family you can be very proud of everything Isobel achieved throughout her life. Sadly we are unable to attend her funeral but will be thinking of you all during this difficult time.
