Ronald Maurice Rodd 6th October 1926 - 26th September 2024 Ron passed away peacefully at home on the 26th September 2024, at the age of almost 98. Dearly beloved and adored by his late Wife Mary who were married for 74 years. Who he missed dearly over the past two years. He was a loving Father to Ron and the late Roy. He was a dear Father-in-Law to Ann and Jane. A cherished and loved Grandad to Amy, Lucy, Richard, Sarah and Lisa. Ron was a much loved Great Grandad to Rosie, Phoebe, Paige and Primrose. He was also a much loved older Brother to five siblings. Ron was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The Funeral for family and friends will be held at the All Saints Church on 4th November at 11:00am. The interment will then take place at the Colchester Crematorium Cemetery at 12:30pm. The Wake for Ron will be held at the Shrub End Social Centre. If people wish to send flowers then this is warmly welcome.
