COLCHESTER’S Conservatives have laid down the gauntlet by selecting their prospective Parliamentary candidate - more than two years ahead of the next General Election.
Will Quince was given first refusal for the candidancy and said he will begin on the campaign trail straight away.
He is aiming to win the seat which is currently held by Liberal Democrat MP Sir Bob Russell.
Colchester is the only constituency in Essex which is not held by the Conservatives and it is one they will target hard.
