CLOG dancers, brass bands and tribal belly dancing will feature on this year’s carnival concert.
An eclectic line-up of acts will mark the return of Colchester Carnival 2013 on July 20.
The event is organised by Colchester Round Table and Ladies Circle, sponsored by Weston Homes and supported by the Gazette.
As well as the traditional procession there will be a fun day in Castle Park from 11am until 8pm.
You can take part in Zumba lessons or listen to Funky Voices choir in the Carnival Arena base in Lower Castle Park.
The Ipswich steel band will welcome the arriving procession in the late afternoon.
And live bands will play into the evening with Bad Hatters, Psycho Dehlia and Stalker will close the day.
Other entertainment going on around the stage will include go karting, body zorbing, a bungee trampoline, face painting and rodeo.
There are some limited entertainment and stall pitches still avaialble for anyone wanting to get involved.
