Job Title: TRAINEE REPORTER
The Role:
Are you highly motivated, enthusiastic and looking to become a great local news reporter?
If so you could be the person we are looking for.
The Echo, the daily paper for south Essex, has a position available for a trainee reporter who has recently completed their NCTJ preliminary training.
The Person:
The usccessful applicant will have a keen, inquiring mind with an interest in people and local issues. Enthusiasm for on-line journalism would be an advantage.
Good organisational and communication skills will be a necessity for this role, as will the ability to work confidently under pressure. A flexible attitude is needed since the position will involve working weekends on a rota basis and some evenings when required.
