POLICE have renewed an appeal for information folowing the death of a cyclist near Colchester.
Errol Baker, 73, of Fulmar Close, was cycling along Slough Lane when he turned into Bromley Road and struck a blue Ford Ka at about 12.45pm on Saturday.
The cyclist died at the scene.
The Fiesta driver was physically uninjured, but is recovering from shock.
A section of the road was closed for approximately five hours while forensic collision investigators looked to identify the cause of the crash.
