FIVE-year-old Madison Libby has done her bit for children living with cancer.
Madison, who lives in Colchester, decided to have her waist length blonde hair cut into a short bob and donate the clippings to the Little Princess Trust.
The trust provides real-hair wigs to boys and girls who have lost their own hair while going through cancer treatment.
The cut took place at Berechurch Barbers, in William Harris Way, Colchester, on Saturday.
Hairdresser, Elizabeth McQuilliam, who cut Madison’s hair, said: “It is such a lovely thing to do and for a five-year-old to want to help people like this is amazing.
“There was quite a lot of it so it will be a sizeable donation. I was glad to be the one to do it.”
In the lead up to the haircut, Madison also raised £400 for the trust.
