Job Title: Reader Travel Sales Advisor
Responsible to: Reader Travel Manager
Reader Holiday Section:
- To ensure the accurate publicity and administration of holidays organised by approved tour operators who must be ABTA, ATOL or PSA.
- To maintain brochure supplies and prompt despatch of holiday material to clients and branch offices.
Reader Trips Section:
- To source and accurately administrate tours for all centres.
- To process all financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records and provide VAT declarations.
Sales Growth:
- Develop business growth and revenue by means of and not limited to media, Internet, target mail and partnership developments.
- Attain target levels as set by the Reader Travel Manager.
General Office Duties:
- Maintain a professional level of service including correspondence, accounting and inter departmental relationships.
Promotional Activities:
- Attend promotional activities as and when required.
Courier Duties:
- Perform as and when required.
Weekend Telephone Rota
A rota system is in place whereby additional payment is made for covering out of office hours emergency telephone calls. (Between 8 to 10 weekends per annum).
