Signs reading "Bus Lane Suspended" were yesterday unveiled on North Hill and in Head Street where council workers had painted "Bus Lane" on the road 36 days ago.
* A couple let their dog off its lead and encouraged it to kill a cat.
Andrew and Katy Johnson, of St Barbara's Road, Colchester, admitted causing unnecessary suffering to an animal and causing an animal fight when they appeared at Colchester Magistrates Court and were order to complete 95 and 75 hours of unpaid work.
* A mum is trying to save activities run by the defunct Colchester United Community Sports Trust.
Andrea Morris is asking other parents, youngsters and the public to help her set up the Colchester Community Sports Trust to take over the role.
