SEEING her boyfriend fall onto one knee at the finish line of the London Marathon, Lianne Humphreys assumed he was simply exhausted from the run.
But with the eyes of the world watching, James Carvell produced a ring hidden in a piece of foil in his pocket and asked: “Will you marry me?”
Lianne, 26, says she does not remember what happened next.
But with the cameras rolling and the proposal being replayed on a big screen on the Mall, she is not short of reminders of their special moment.
