MEMORIES and photographs of a historic club which was burnt to the ground are wanted.
The Colchester Officers’ Club, in St John’s Green was destroyed in a blaze in 2010, and along with it almost all old pictures of the clubhouse.
Work is well underway on a replacement building which is due to open in July, three years after the fire, and the club’s officers are keen to replace the history which has been lost.
