A FILM crew caused a stir when a top actor was spotted in Colchester town centre.
Nigel Havers, made famous for his part in 1981 film Chariots of Fire, was in the town filming for a TV series.
Production company Shed Media were unable to confirm what was being filmed, only saying it was “a BBC historical documentary series”.
It is understood they were filming the genealogy programme Who Do You Think You Are, but this was not confirmed by the production team.
