CARE home residents from across north Essex celebrated St George’s Day with a traditional party.
Red and white was in abundance as staff and 74 residents from six homes run by Southend Care celebrated the saint’s day.
The event, held at the Greenstead Social Club in Blackthorn Avenue, saw dancing, fancy dress and the quintessential British dish of fish and chips.
