PLANS to build a KFC drive-thru restaurant on the outskirts of Colchester could be scuppered.
Tendring Council, which will decide the planning application, has demanded more information about why the firm chose the site in Ipswich Road.
The Gazette understands planning officers were going to recommend councillors refuse the bid.
They have asked the fast food firm for information about why alternative sites were no pursued.
