A TEENAGE free-runner has suffered serious head injuries after falling through a roof at a derelict warehouse in Rowhedge.
Emergency services were called to Rowhedge Wharf, off High Street, shortly after 7.25pm on Friday.
The-17-year-old is thought to have fallen 30ft through the roof and hit head on concrete.
He was flown to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge by air ambulance, where he is currently being treated for serious injuries.
It is understood the youngster had been free-running, a sport in which runners use acrobatic moves to climb over obstacles.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “He is being treated for serious injuries. There are no suspicious circumstances.
“Officers are urging local children and teenagers to stay away from the disused warehouses because of the dangers on the site."
